That's right, Anna is officially a "Mighty Mite" in the world of YMCA swimming:) Last Friday, Anna graduated from her first swim class and is ready to be a "Perch" this fall. Overall, we really enjoyed our first swim class and Anna seems to really love the water. We went to class at the Y in Bellevue, and while it was a little bit of a drive, this class fit well with our schedule. Class mostly consisted of singing songs, getting use to being in the water, playing with toys, and meeting other kids. On her last class of the session, the kiddos each got to go down the big water slide and play with all the fun water park type equipment. I think the slide was probably a tad overwhelming for our little "Mighty Mite", but there were no tears or complaining, so I think she liked it:) Our summer has proved to be just a tad bit busy, so we are probably going to take the summer off, and start back up again this fall.
