The Seidel Family Adventures: {A Whirlwind to the End of a Great Summer!

Bob, Anna, and I just got home and settled back into our normal routine after a week of vacation and fun. We started last Friday by heading down to Milwaukee to visit with friends from college for the night. It was so great to see everyone and I just love that our nights together use to consists of drinking and dancing on dressers and now include little ones and all the fun that comes along with them! Anna did great and loved hanging out with "the big people" and her friend Ava...I don't think she finally crashed until sometime after 11:30 or so!

We came home Saturday morning to get ready to go camping for a few days at Peninsula State Park. Bob and I went up Sunday night and set everything up and my parents brought Anna up the next day and spent the day with us at the park. My mom, Anna, and I played at the beach and did some shopping in Fish Creek and Bob and my dad did some bike riding in the park before making dinner at the campsite and my parents had to head back home. The next day, Bob, Anna, and I went to the beach, bummed around town, and enjoyed the park. Anna absolutely LOVED the beach. As a first time beach goer, so didn't waste anytime getting down and dirty and was sooo busy putting sand into her bucket and mixing it around...over and over again:)

Unfortunately, some wet weather threatened to come through the next day, so we decided to pack up and head home early....camping with Anna was tons of fun, but we were not ready to find out what camping with Anna would be like stuck in a pop up for a day while it rained...plus we were anxious to get home and pack for the long Labor Day weekend up north at Bob's Aunt and Uncles.
